3. Ban on purchases for resale

Sinful.co.uk is for private consumers only. Therefore, only private consumers can make purchases at www.sinful.co.uk. When you make a purchase, you confirm that you are not buying the goods as a business or with the intent to resell. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we at Sinful.co.uk have reason to consider it is purchased by a business or with the intent to resell. This does not entitle the customer to make claims against Sinful.

4. Age of consent

You must be 18 years or older to make a purchase on Sinful.co.uk. By approving a purchase on the website, you confirm that you are in compliance with the age restriction.

5. Cancellation and return policy

As a consumer, you are entitled to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, in accordance with applicable legislation. In addition, we offer an extended return policy of up to 365 days, subject to certain conditions, providing you with greater flexibility and confidence in your purchase decisions. If you have purchased multiple items in a single order, you may choose to withdraw from the purchase of some or all of the items. Please note that delivery charges will not be refunded in the case of partial withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal period starts from the day you, or a third party designated by you (excluding the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods. If you have ordered multiple items in a single order and they are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the last item.

If the withdrawal period expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following business day.

5.1 Consumer’s statutory 14-day right to return

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping online. Therefore, you have 14 days from the date of receipt to inform us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. You can contact customer service by, for example, sending an email to service@sinful.co.uk or by using the standard withdrawal form, which can be found in section 11 at the bottom of the terms and conditions.

The return period expires 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

5.2 365-day limited return policy

At Sinful, you have the option to return your purchase within up to 365 days. This is subject to a limited return policy. This means that you can return an item, provided that it is in the same quality, quantity, and condition as when you received it. For example, food products, lubricants, batteries, etc., must be returned unopened and within their expiry date.

Furthermore, the item and packaging must be returned in the same condition as when you received them. The original packaging must be returned undamaged.

5.3 No right to return on the following items

  1. Sealed goods, which for health or hygiene reasons are not suitable for return, and where the seal has been broken after delivery, including but not limited to intimate products. For hygienic reasons, the right to return or withdraw from the purchase is void for intimate products once the packaging has been opened. Products not intended for intimate use may be unpacked, provided they are returned in the same condition and quantity as when received.
  2. Items with an expiry date are not included in our 365-day limited return policy. This means that food products, liquids, batteries, and other items with an expiry date cannot be returned after the consumer’s statutory 14-day right to return.

5.4 Condition of the item

You must return the item in its original packaging. The packaging of unsealed items may be opened, but not damaged. If the packaging is missing or damaged, this may constitute a depreciation in value for which you will be responsible.

Additionally, you should ensure that the item is securely packaged when returning it. You bear the risk of the package/items until we receive them. Therefore, please retain your receipt and any tracking number.

5.4.1 Condition of the item when exercising the statutory right of return

If the item has lost value due to your handling it in a way that was not necessary to determine its nature, features, and functionality, you may only receive a partial refund. You may examine and test the item in the same way as you would in a physical store. The amount refunded will depend on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases, it may mean you will only receive the shipping costs back.

5.4.2 Condition of the item when returning it under the 365-day return policy

If the item has been opened or used beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, features, and functionality, we consider it used, meaning you will only receive a partial refund or no refund at all, depending on the commercial value of the item. For example, you may try on lingerie, provided the product is returned in the same condition and packaging as when received.

5.5 Refund

When you withdraw from a purchase, we will refund all payments received from you, including any delivery charges. However, this does not apply to additional costs incurred if you selected a delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest delivery option we offer.

If you have purchased multiple items in a single order and only withdraw from part of your purchase, we will not refund the delivery costs.

We will refund the amount without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date we receive your notice of withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you provide proof that the goods have been returned. We recommend obtaining a receipt when submitting the package, as this serves as proof of return.

We will process the refund using the same payment method you used for the original transaction. In any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

If you refuse delivery or fail to pick up your package from the designated pickup location, we will assume that you have withdrawn from the purchase. In this case, we will deduct the return shipping costs from your order refund. The return shipping cost is 3,99 £. If you do not accept this, you are welcome to pick up your package and return it on your own.

5.6 How to exercise your right to return

To exercise your right to return, you must clearly inform customer service that you wish to withdraw. You can use the statutory standard withdrawal form, which is provided at the end of these terms and conditions under section 11, but this is not mandatory. Alternatively, you can contact customer service:

Email: service@sinful.co.uk

Phone: 0330 808 5261

We consider the purchase to be withdrawn if we have not heard from you and you refuse to accept the goods or fail to pick them up from the designated pickup location. In such cases, we will deduct the return shipping costs (3,99 £) from your order refund.

The withdrawal period is considered to be observed if you send your notice of withdrawal before the expiration of the withdrawal period.

If you are unsure how to exercise your right of withdrawal, you are welcome to refer to our Q&A on returns or contact customer service:

Email: service@sinful.co.uk

Phone: 0330 808 5261

6. Claims

Sinful offers a 2-year guarantee involving extensive defects discovered through normal use of the product. This means that you can either get the product repaired or replaced, or you can get a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.

The guarantee does not cover defects, damages or wear and tear directly or indirectly resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, violence or tampering.

Sinful must be notified of any complaints within reasonable time after the flaw or defect has been discovered or should have been discovered. Please contact customer service and submit image or video documentation of the flaw or defect. We will then get back to you with further instructions.

When you place orders with Sinful, you have up to 6 years to make a claim for an item you’ve bought from us (5 years in Scotland). You must notify us that you wish to make a complaint as soon as possible, and no later than 2 months after discovering the flaw/deficiency.

Note that your basic right to a claim is to have the purchased item that you have complained about replaced with a corresponding product.

Sinful will organise delivery to the recipient on the earliest possible date requested in the order. Please see our Shipping Options pages for delivery details. In case of very delayed (several days) or defaulted deliveries, Sinful will send you a new delivery without charge.

If you shop for more than £55, we offer free shipping with Royal Mail. For items weighing 20 kg or more, a shipping fee of £35 will be applied.

Price and delivery times for shipments abroad vary depending on your country of residence. The price is determined by the weight of the products you order and will be stated on the check-out page. Delivery times depend on your chosen delivery service and country of residence. Please see our Shipping Options pages for more information.

Keep in mind that you as a consumer have the right to cancel a purchase and have the purchase amount returned to you in case of delayed delivery. According to consumer rights regulations, delivery must take place no later than 30 days after placing an order, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. This goes for both physical and online shops. If you wish to cancel your purchase due to delayed delivery, you have the right to have your money returned to you within 14 days.

There may be delays due to things like entry inwards which Sinful cannot be held responsible for.
