On the pair I got home, one of the "cuffs" was badly sewn, so the material seemed to bulge together when you tightened them. I, a person with narrow wrists, also experienced that there was a bit too much strap, and that the part of the strap that was not fastened with Velcro like "slipped out" of the cuff and lay down in an unflattering way along the arm. Otherwise very soft and nice material, the metal details felt real, and the Velcro straps are so amazingly practical!

Before a wedding just before Christmas I was in need of cufflinks, a quick "googling" took me here. It was not really what I was looking for but it was excellent as an icebreaker. I now have a date for the new year so can not give anything but top marks!
