Sindex by Sinful - What do we fantasise about?
Growing up, we are playful and full of imagination. But we tend to forget our playfulness when adulthood and everyday life sets in. That is a shame. Because Britons are full of hidden fantasies about ways to have sex.
Fortunately, it is no longer associated with shame to feel like playing under the bed sheets – or outside the four walls of our home for that matter. And in the United Kingdom we are good at expressing this. In fact, more than every other Briton talks about sex, desires, and fantasies with their partner at least once a month.
We also tend to live out our fantasies. More than a quarter of Britons, for instance, dream about having sex in a special location such as a plane or in nature – and 32% have already tried it. Even though many Britons live out their fantasies, we remain curious about new experiences. In fact, more than every other Briton dreams about experimenting more sexually.

All figures and numbers in Sindex are based on an international population survey and sales data from Sinful.
The population survey was conducted in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, and the United Kingdom with a total of 12,000 respondents – 2,000 in each country. Data were collected via Cint in the period 17 May to 8 June 2022. The survey was sent out to a representative sample in relation to gender, age, and region. Full representativeness is ensured through subsequent weighting of the data.
